09/23/2017: 7:30 PM@ Arrowhead Center for the Arts
Pat Donohue & the Prairie All Stars present a night of great tunes.

The songs performed by GRAMMY Award-winning fingerpicker Pat Donohue and his Prairie All Stars band members, Richard Kriehn, Peter Johnson, and Gary Raynor, may take you back to their days on A Prairie Home Companion (as members of "The House Band" and “Guy’s All Star Shoe Band"). But the evening's offerings will also include much more music, in the styles of Blues, Rockabilly, Folk, Jazz, and Pat’s hilarious original parodies. With Pat at the helm and his ever-so-talented crew, this show is guaranteed to be a fantastic night out!

Pat Donohue’s devotion to acoustic guitar has made him an American standard, as he echoes the tones of Robert Johnson, Blind Blake, Merle Travis, or Muddy Waters.
Gary Raynor (bass) has performed with the Count Basie band, Sammy Davis Jr. — with whom he toured for several years — and the Minnesota Klezmer Band. Multi-instrumentalist Richard Kriehn has toured with Travis Tritt, Aaron Tippin, and Michael Peterson, and appeared on the Grand Ole’ Opry and The Rosie O’Donnell Show. Peter Johnson (percussion) has played klezmer music with Doc Severinsen and jazz with Dave Brubeck. He was a drummer for The Manhattan Transfer and for Gene Pitney.

Tickets: General Admission, $20 adult, $10 youth (18 & under), for sale in advance (no fees) at www.aca.tix.com and at door night of show (6:30 pm).
